Jason Walker来自宾夕法尼亚州，赢得“Showtime at the Apollo”节目冠军之后，2002年他搬到了纽约。之后他被传奇的DJ兼制作人Junior Vasquez发现并签约，在Vasquez和他的经纪人Jerome Farley的帮助下，他在2005年录制并发行了他的第一张专辑《This Is My Life》。高亢的嗓音，高难度的真假混音技是Jason Walker不易被埋没的优势。他的歌曲曾多次成功打入美国Billboard舞曲榜，在舞池的知名度极高。在美国billboard舞曲榜中他有两首第一名歌曲，“Foolish Mind Games”和“Set It Free”。
